South Jakarta Kicks Off Job Fair

South Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-Department is holding a job fair that will present about 2,000 vacancies from 60 companies. The job fair is held on the lower ground of Blok M Mall from today (6/5) until tomorrow (6/6).

“This is a big chance for job seekers. They can come starting 9.30 AM,” stated Head of South Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-Department, Dwi Untoro, Thursday (6/5).

According to Untoro, those thousands of vacancies are opened by various national companies engaged in banking, industrial, until culinary sectors. As for the types of jobs available, it ranges from sales promotion girl (SPG) until manager level.

“Many companies are involved here, ranging from banking, industrial, education, until culinary sectors. But, mostly are dominated by companies engaged in service sector,” he told.

Untoro stressed that the job fair is free of charge and job seekers only need to bring their job application letters including diplomas, photos, and ID cards.

“This is free of charge, just bring your job application letter. But if you want to make a yellow card as well, there must be a certificate of origin area,” he uttered.
